another 5 thumb up item!! their Oreo Parfait .. a mixture of tub ice cream and soft ice cream with cookie stick, oreo, wipped cream, chunky cake, chocolate sauce and bitter cacao at the end!!! $9.50 but this is quite huge~ enough for 2 of us ^^ Hao hao chi orh!!!

TMAP DND 2009

This year DND was BORING!!! duno why they dont engage last year host!!! Anyway this time round they host it in Fullerton~Theme was Mafia and Gangster~ that's why u see water guns on the table!! shield? Look at the black cloth on ITO san's head!! haha we had great fun running around shooting with water gun!

TMAP talent of this year~ not as funny as last year!! the funny team last year only show their bud in g-string.. and that's about it!!

Korean BBQ and Red Dot Drinking Session

Met up with Dawoon, Jungdoe and Junhee... went to Sliver's recommendation of cheap Korean BBQ at Kampong Bharu Road

Tried their cheap samgyupsal at $5 per plate! hm.. consider very cheap~ if u dun mind the thinnest and oiliness of meat~ don't really recommend if you are looking for a place for nice n juicy belly meat~ the fats in their bacon are too much.. by the time all the oil are drained by BBQ flame.. the meat turn crispy instead of juicy! more recommend if you are looking forward for a soju session~ their soju are damn cheap $10 a bottle!!! we whacked 4-5 bottle of soju!!! i also recommend their kimchi pajeon!! pretty yummy =p

Head to RedDot at Dempesy road to look for ChaiYong~ our Mafia manager who work in Chang Korean Restaurant there...

Continue our drinking session at RedDot!! the ambiance was superb!! Smoothing and Relaxing~ Best of all RedDot served their home brew beer only~

We also tried something new! Green Spirulina Beer... so what is spirulina? we didn't know until 5 min ago when i Google it.. it's freaking hell BLUE GREEN ALGAE that is commonly use to make into health supplement!!! in Chinese we called it "Hai2 Zhao3".. actually quite common it is seen as health supplement lah.. just that this picture freaks me out of the algae thingy~ =_=" Looking gross!!

Friday Steamboat Gathering 28th Nov

Chin Huat (Zhen Fa) Steamboat at their new location beside Novena Square.. =_=" so much smaller.. we waited 1.5 hr b4 getting in!!! taste much better!! especially their tom yam soup base.. price also better =( haha from $12 to $19!! Comparing FRESH prawn (the one in bright orange) and dead prawn!! oooooo soo much difference neh~ New buffet spread include sushi, salad spread, BBQ (even have bbq sweet potato) and tepanyaki, deserts like choco foundue, tartet, brownie and fruits~~~ not bad for that price.. but mind the queue~~~

Division Dinner 20th Nov

Hosted by Utako san, this year we are having our division dinner at Peony Chinese Restaurant (level 2 of Suntec convention hall)

dinner was quite okie~ some of them comes in the touch of fusion~ like mixing fruits or nuts with the meat and seafood... different.. and i love the huge prawn!! ^^

fusion: Cod fish in teriyaki style and wasabi mayo sauce (top right) ... special =D and the dinner end with the best combi of desert!! Mango puree with strawberry combo!! *woot*

I'M PartTime Kimchi Ajuma

My MIL bought us sOOooo Much kimchi!!! i think i can be a kimchi seller=p Look at that!!!! hehe so happy.. kimchi in Singapore are so so expensive.. a small tub 500g in NTUC will cost $7.90!!

When i open the fridge i was shock to see this huge tub of kimchi doing in my rice Tupperware??? My MIL (mother in law) got these from Indo.. which is quite cheap compared to SG.. In SG korean supermarket are selling at average $20 per 1kg... in Indo, she got this pack of 5kg at only roughly $50!! that is cheaper by 50%!!

Then i open the freezer.. it continue to surprise me!! It is packed!! with alot of TOK (rice cake)

I counted .. total of 14 pack of red bean Tok, 2 pack of normal white Tok, 1kg Korean prawn dumping, 2kg Korean fish cake, 1kg Korean squid pancake!!! i think i can dun need to buy freezer food for few mth i took out the pack of dumping and squid and to my another shock i saw....

another 2 pack of 5kg kimchi!!!!!!!!! WOAHHhhhhhhhhh how am i suspose to finish them in few month time.. (FYI: kimchi if kept too long will turn too sour and by tt time you cant it raw.. can only use them to cook Kimchi soup) i almost faint when i saw this!!! ~_~""

Closed my fridge i realise there is a foul smell coming from the other side of the kitchen.. and i saw a plastic bag full of this *pointing above* FERMENTED BEAN PASTE CONCENTRATE!!! that is the worst worst worst smell i eva smell.. 100x worst than HK smelly bean curd!!! like vomit that nobody cleans up!!! i actually tired the soup in JB korean restaurant b4.. when cook.. maybe it is more dilute, its nt so smelly.. but in concentrate form!!! the pungent is ARRhhhhhhhhh winner~~ TO INHO: I AM SO NOT TO COOK THIS FOR YOU! COOK URSELF OR THROW!!! and please soak the pot if u do cook~ =___="
